The North Norfolk Heritage Coast and the sandy beaches of Cromer, Mundesley and Sheringham are a short drive away. The fine historical city of Norwich is twelve miles away with its many historical sights including Norwich Castle and Cathedral and a great selection of national and local shops for a bit of retail therapy. There is a pub in the village within walking distance. Shops and supermarkets are available in the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham.
